MAINE AGRICULTURAL FAIRS 2007 Three local fairs to consider are: The Common Ground Fair, which features all organic seeds, fruits, vegetables and presents many fascinating "local" craftsmen, musicians and friendly people. We are always anticipating autumn, and this fair. September 21, 22, 23. www.mofga.org The Skowhegan Fairn began in 1818 and lays claim to being the oldest continuously-running fair in the United States. This is the 189th year. August 9 through August 18. www.skowheganstatefair.com The Fryeburg Fair which is Maine's largest agricultural fair. The timing of this fair is at the height of color season. With autumn harvests present, this fair is a wonderful event each year.
