Although the Yeaton Farm Inn is situated a short drive from the edge of Long Pond, we enjoy racing to the Inn's dock to experience each evening's sunset. Always different, always memorable, always mysterious, the breathtaking qualities of this nightly phenomenon provide a glimpse into the dimensions of time. As the fluctuating light develops and colors vary, one also experiences the cool breeze, unexpected fragrances and undefined rustlings. Every moment seems to briefly suspend in time and space. At this silent end of the day, our human position in this world can be freshly assessed in profound solitude.
