Just across the street, Buzz and Vicki at the Post Office supervise the only remaining lake mailboat in the United States (remember the mailboat from "On Golden Pond"). We will be glad to call Captain Norm to reserve a seat for you so that you can ride along as he stops at each dock to deliver the US post. His tales of Great Pond and the colorful characters who inhabit it, tend to amuse our guests.
The pleasures are simple in the Village of Belgrade Lakes. The natives are friendly, emotions are real, we operate as a community of caring people, and the visit is memorable as it is a reflection of our historic past.
